RARE - a word that is over-used and abused on eBay and elsewhere!

We have deemed the items in this section of our website to be RARE if:

1. The pattern is rated a 1 (rarest) or 2 & 3 (very rare) in the "Relative Value Guide" in Pearson's Vol. III.

2. The pattern or unusual shape appears in "Rarities in American Cut Glass" by Wiener & Lipkowitz.

3. The pattern or shape is deemed RARE by a consensus of advanced collectors and experienced dealers.
